Initial : Hinders happiness â€‹

Present : Contented with their lives and uses their abilities to create a better life for themselves.

 

Action : Real. Scent was established to meet this emerging need. We could also collaborate with HR departments to employ this community.

Lack of Educational Opportunities

Initial : Belief that special needs education institutions cater enough for the deafblind â€‹

Present : Inadequacies in education system as seen by our client being rejected from receiving education

​

Action : Collaborate with schools to advocate for the deafblind and promote inclusivity. 

Lack of Awareness

Initial : Public are not aware of the deafblind and how to help them â€‹

​

Present : Deafblind related organisations are also generally unresponsive to emerging needs and more can be done to help them.

 

Action : Work hand in hand with initiatives like deaf hangout to further empower the deafblind.
